2. No Attorney-Client Relationship From Website Use

The information on this website is for general information only and is not legal advice. Visiting the site, sending us a message through the contact form, or emailing us does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship exists only after we have agreed in writing to represent you.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the website’s contact form or by email before we have confirmed that we represent you. This includes claim details, privileged communications, or any personal information such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or payment card numbers. Messages sent before an attorney-client relationship is established may not be protected as confidential.

3. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, call, or email us, you may provide your name, company or insurer, email address, phone number, and any details you include in your message.

When you visit the site, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected through cookies (see Section 5).

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no common standard for responding to them, this site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information where required by law.

7. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us run the website and our business, such as web hosting, email, and form handling providers, who are required to protect the information
  • Google, through the services described in Section 5
  • Professional advisors, such as accountants, insurers, and outside counsel, when needed for our business
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, court order, or legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, subject to our professional confidentiality obligations
  • A successor if our business is sold or transferred

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, professional, record-keeping, and tax obligations. Law firm records may need to be retained for a number of years under the professional rules of the states where we practice.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and email is not a secure channel for confidential communications, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You may contact us at any time to ask what personal information we hold about you through this website, to request that we correct or delete it, or to ask us to stop sending communications. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may be unable to delete information we are required to keep by law or professional rules.

Some states give residents specific privacy rights, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of personal information. Oregon and California have comprehensive privacy laws, and Washington has laws covering specific categories of data. These laws generally apply only to businesses that meet certain size or data-volume thresholds, and some exempt certain types of data. Whether or not a particular law applies to us, we will consider any reasonable privacy request you send to the contact information below.

11. Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-Party Websites

The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before sharing information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
